"Just wanted to let you know how great I think your site is and that it has really helped simplify our gift giving process so much. We usually have two different groups each Christmas since my mom's family is so large (10 brothers and sisters; 21 grandchildren), we put the siblings and their spouses in one group and all the grandchildren in the other group, just have to figure out where to fit the older grandchildren at since they are too old to be considered Lil' Buddies yet aren't in the same salary range as the Big Buddies. This is the first year that we can say everybody will be surprised and guarantee that nobody will get their spouse or the grandchildren will get their siblings, usually we have to keep putting the names back in the hat. Thanks again for creating this wonderful site and making my job at picking buddies so much easier. " -Robin

"All I can say is 'what a wonderful idea!!!!'. My husband comes from a big family. He is one of eight, and there are now a total of 29 grandkids. We draw names, but it gets harder and harder every year. We are a total of 46 people living in 5 different states. This is the answer. I love the idea of a wish list. We always seem to get names of nieces and nephews that we aren't very close to who are in their teenage years. Being our oldest is only 8, we don't really know what the teens are in to.

Our family drew names in August. We usually do it at or around Thanksgiving. We always have a list of rules. One year we were all sent a little sack with our names. The gifts had to be under $5.00 and fit in the small sack. I really liked that one. Then we had one year where every family put 3 adjectives in a hat. Three were drawn out and we were to get gifts that were all three adjectives. The words were.. funny, rustic and polka-dotted. This year we are to give a photo, at least 8x10, framed and mailed by Dec. 1st.
